Capturing Memories 🍂
This fall, we captured some truly special memories with a professional family photo session. When it comes to family, I won the lottery. Who we are related to is left up to fate and I’m so thankful for our close bond. My family shaped me into the person I am today and taught me the value of perseverance. There’s just something magical about autumn—the golden leaves, the crisp air, and that cozy feeling of togetherness. It felt like the perfect time to slow down and celebrate the people we love most. Looking back at the photos…
In My Snow Globe ❄️
This holiday season, I released “Snow Globe,” an original song about shaking things up when someone turns your world upside down and creates an ice storm. The live trumpet by Max Dory adds a sassy undertone and the spunky lyrics encourage women to know their worth. A special thank you to Max for also mixing and mastering. I had a blast writing and producing this track that blends humor and holiday attitude, but the excitement doesn’t stop there…
Romanticizing Fall 🍁
As the 'ber months (September through December) come to a close, I find myself reflecting on how we romanticize fall—and honestly, I love every bit of it. After a visit to the beautiful Cheekwood Estate & Gardens in Nashville, I can confidently say there’s no such thing as too many pumpkins. This season, I also released Old Record Love, a song I wrote a few years ago and have loved performing live…
A Cappella Adventures
When I mention that I am in a collegiate a cappella group, many people say, “Is it just like Pitch Perfect?” I can’t deny there are some similarities! But, jokes aside, being a member of Intonations, an all-female a cappella group from Belmont University, has been one of the most inspiring and fulfilling parts of my college journey. From day one, I’ve been surrounded by an incredible group of women who are not only talented vocalists but also passionate and driven individuals…
Three Summer Singles 🎶
"Bad Apple" is an original song by singer/songwriter, Grace Piper Fields, and produced by Max Dory. Layered harmonies and poetic storytelling draw the listener into a tale where looks can be deceiving. In the studio, every sound became an instrument from the drumming of nails on the body of a guitar to vocal riffs. Enchanted with creativity, "Bad Apple" warns of a dragon disguised as a prince…
An Enchanting New Year 2024
Life is full of surprises and 2024 began with an extraordinary one. After posting a reel about my family’s visit to Enchant KC, I was selected to receive a suite and a feast for ten! The generosity and hospitality of the people from Enchant enabled me to usher in the new year surrounded by the people who have supported me…

Footloose - Rusty
Now that I am in the midst of my first semester of college at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, summer seems like a lifetime ago. My time spent with Stage Right Performing Arts has helped shape me into the person I am today, and I’m so grateful for the many memories and friendships made along the way. Here are a few photos and videos from my final show at Stage Right playing Rusty in Footloose!
A Mad Hatter Tea Party 🫖
By the time graduation rolled around, I had been down the rabbit hole a few times, so an Alice in Wonderland Mad Hatter Tea Party seemed an obvious choice for my graduation party theme. It was a deviation from the typical school color theme, but I did incorporate light blue as a nod to my alma mater. My fascination with Alice in Wonderland began years ago. As a nonconformist who loves a tea party…
Reverie, A New Musical Premiere 🦋
It seems fitting that an unlikely fairytale was born out of unprecedented times. During the pandemic lock down I settled in to read the treasure trove of diaries and letters that I had unearthed from my grandmother's basement and became lost in thought. Sometimes in the midst of crisis it can be hard to find magic and wonder, but as I read my great-grandmother's diaries, I saw that Lorene faced one challenge after another but never stopped believing in the magic of life. As I sifted through pages upon pages…
The SpongeBob Musical - Squidward
I never thought I would have so much fun playing the grouchy, cartoonish Squidward Q. Tentacles. I am so thankful to have been a part of this production for my senior year at Shawnee Mission East High School! A special shoutout to Audrey Morehead who created my costume including the extra leggy-tastic legs! This year has been especially exciting due to being cast in a wide variety of parts…
Chicago the Musical
Chicago with its witty lines and iconic songs has always been one of my favorite musicals. Playing Roxie Hart was a dream come true, and I’m so grateful to have had this experience my senior year. Stage Right Performing Arts has been a part of my life since I was four years old and has helped shape me into the person I am today, both as a performer and a human. Through the years…
The Power of Flowers, Welcome 2023!
Throughout time flowers have been an endless source of inspiration. Flower fossils dating back millions of years suggest that flowers have been around practically since the beginning of time, yet we never tire of their beauty. Flowers cross all boundaries and cultures and even with different symbolism or customs surrounding them, their appeal is something we can all agree on…
Cheers, London 🇬🇧
As a final wrap-up of our trip to England last summer, I am sharing some of the iconic sights around London. Our trip would not have been complete without seeing Big Ben, the Tower of London, riding a double-decker bus, and all the many touristy things to do when visiting London. During a downpour, we escaped the rain and wandered through the legendary Westminster Abbey. There is so much to see, and I hope to return to…
Fanciful London 🫖
From high tea to grabbing a cup of coffee, London offers so many fanciful experiences. We visited London during the Queen’s Jubilee, so the atmosphere was particularly festive. Around every corner were elaborate window displays complete with large floral arrangements. Below are more details about my favorite four stops in London, Sketch, The Ritz, EL&N, and Mr. Fogg’s House of Botanicals…
The Chelsea Flower Show & Sweets Galore
My first impression of England consisted of elaborate floral displays, fabulous shops, and the scent of roses. This is no surprise considering the Chelsea Flower Show is renowned for its atmosphere. We set off for the show straight from the airport as the day we arrived was the last day of the show. Despite…
Touring Hampton Court Palace
Last summer I had the pleasure of visiting Hampton Court Palace, just outside of London, with my mom and sisters. This fascinating palace with its Tudor and Baroque sides are surrounded by incredible gardens. Rich with history, it's a great place to visit before seeing the musical Six at the West End which is about King Henry VIII’s six wives. He brought all of his wives to…
The Cotswolds: Stepping Into a Storybook 📖
While in England, my sisters, mom, and I had the pleasure of spending several days in the Cotswolds. The Cotswolds is a region of rolling hills and meadows in central-southwest England. With so many charming towns, it was hard to choose which ones to visit. We truly felt like we stepped into a storybook! Stories are a very fitting topic since…
Visiting Sudeley Castle: The Fabled History Within Its Walls
One of my favorite outings in the Cotswolds was visiting Sudeley Castle near the town of Winchcombe. At Sudeley Castle, you can walk in the footsteps of some of history’s most notable characters in the beautiful gardens and learn about the castle’s famous inhabitants. There are ten magnificent gardens to explore, each with its own unique style and design. The castle was once the home of Queen Katherine Parr…
All Shook Up (Mayor Matilda)
Summer would not feel complete without being a part of a Stage Right Performing Arts production! All Shook Up is a musical that features Elvis Presley’s music and is filled with lots of funny moments. It was such a blast to play the villain of the show, Mayor Matilda Hyde. Thank you so much to everyone who…
