Italian Riviera Beach Day⛱
Monterosso al Mare/Manarola, Cinque Terre
Part 2
Ahh the smell of salt and the ocean breeze make for a tranquil day at the beach! This particular beach at Monterosso al Mare was interesting because it had both sand and unique rocks. I collected some beautiful rocks, and the water sparkled in the sunlight as I splashed in the waves. In my opinion, this was one of the most relaxing days of the entire trip. I feel much more peaceful when I am living in the present, and watching the tide rise and fall. The rows of brightly colored beach umbrellas were quite stunning as well!
On a stroll through town, we came across this kitty who took it upon itself to take a cat nap inside of a boat… I aspire to be able to sleep anywhere on the spot like this cat!
Cinque Terre is known for it’s lemons. I looove the smell of lemons, so this lemon-scented soap was the perfect souvenir to remember Cinque Terre by! (and it just happened to match my lemon beach dress☺️)
So I am just going about my merry way when I notice a seagull strolling next to me! I am just kind of obsessed with these friendly birds!
Later in the day, we took a dip in a swimming hole in Manarola! We set our towels and bags on a nearby rock and dived right in! This was such a magical experience, and I loved the spontaneity of it all.

There was an end of summer sale at Vera Bradley! If you bought a swimsuit, you got a free plastic-lined, quilted bag made out of the same pattern. It is great for when your swimsuit is wet, and you don’t want everything in your beach bag to get soaked!
This water-proof, woven bag from Anthropologie is perfect for a day at the beach! I am wearing a packable hat from Anthropologie as well.
