Sun-Kissed☀️💋: An Original Song

fullsizeoutput_9f7.jpeg

I wrote Sun-Kissed at the beginning of the summer 2018. It’s a lighthearted, summery song with island vibes. I entered it in Radio Air Play’s summer song contest, and it won an overall winner award! I would like to thank Chris Bihuniak from Rock Band Academy Studios for producing this song.

Sun-Kissed

By Grace Piper Fields

I might kind of sun burnt for I turned a little red,

Or maybe I’m still blushing from that funny thing you said

Every summer has a story that it wants to tell

The sun shone down and touched on my cheek as it cast a spell

Whoa!

Sun-kissed, sun-kissed

Sun-kissed, sun-kissed

Hazy, crazy, lazy days of summer

All those plans we made together

Ba-da-da-da-da-da

May all your days be summer and like time that never ends

The petals on that daisy say that we are more than friends

F-r-i-e-n-d-s

Sun-kissed, sun-kissed

Sun-kissed, sun-kissed

(Mash up)

Sun-kissed, sun-kissed

Sun-kissed, sun-kissed

Every summer has a story that it wants to tell

The sun shone down and touched on my cheek as it cast a spell

Whoa!

Sun-kissed, sun-kissed

That’s the story that I tell

Sun-kissed, sun-kissed

It’s ‘cause I was under a spell!

Sun-kissed, sun-kissed

Sun-kissed, sun-kissed
