My First Taste of Italy
Florence, Italy
Part 1
Wow! My first day in Italy, and I am speechless! My first impression of Italy was that it is truly a different world. Within a few steps off of the train, I found myself face to face with the Duomo! It's magnificent domes are a sight to be seen! I was especially excited to see Florence because my sister, Sophie, had told me so much about it. She spent a summer in Florence two years ago, and was looking forward to showing us all of her favorite places to go. After exploring the city a while (and riding the carousel), we headed off to dinner at Francesco Vini. The authentic Italian food was a great way to start off our trip. It was a short but memorable day (considering the first half was spent traveling.) I got my first taste of Italy!

Outfit Details:
Two piece white set from Etiquette (here) Lily and Laura bracelet (here) Embroidered Blue Pom Purse from Paper Source (here) Born Sandals (here) Tassel earrings from Nordstrom - past season (similar here)
The warm African winds had blown into Florence, and it was very hot when we arrived. This light and airy two piece set from Etiquette helped me stay cool. I especially liked how the white fabric has a silver thread woven through it that adds a hint of sparkle.✨The outfit originally had off the shoulder arm bands, but they didn't fit my arms correctly, so I cut them off.😂 As for the Born sandals, I wore these almost everyday and they are so comfortable! Whether you are walking on cobblestones or even trekking 10-20 miles a day, these shoes won't let you down! A friend gave me the Lily and Laura bracelet as a gift, and I love the simplicity of it. It can go with pretty much anything. For the finishing touch, the embroidered blue pom purse adds a splash of color.
