Sunday began with brunch at Lauderee in Soho. Lauderee is a French restaurant that specializes in macaroons. We picked out a box of some of our favorites to try, and they were delightful!  After that we headed to the Birchbox store, which is also in Soho. Birchbox is the subscription service that delivers a box of sample beauty products to your house each month. Sophie is absolutely obsessed with Birchbox! We built our own boxes, and finally our parents had to drag us out of the store. That afternoon we saw another Broadway musical, Waitress. Our seats were in the front row and I was not sure how that would be because we could actually touch the stage, but I ended up loving the seats. It was awesome to be up close and personal with the actors, and the show was dynamic and moving. The theatre even served pie that we ate during the performance! We then walked to Rockefeller Center to see the New York skyline view from the Top of the Rock.  It was cloudy that evening, but the view was still impressive. We ate dinner with friends before calling it a night.

Our Sunday Look

Sunday was all about crushed velvet dresses. Sophie’s dress was muted pink, and mine was blue/gray. It was unseasonably warm, and the dresses were very comfortable for walking around all day in. I am so grateful for the opportunity to spend a weekend in one of my favorite cities! I'm crushing on NYC!
